(Mat-Su Valley, AK) – Due to a Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service for strong winds and low relative humidity. This suspension is in effect for the entire Matanuska and Susitna valleys as of 9 a.m. today and will stay in effect until further notice.

This suspension includes burn barrels and all open burning other than camping or cooking fires.
