The Twelvemile Lake Fire is burning approximately 37 miles southeast of Delta Junction. Today, the Idaho Type 3 Incident Management Team assumed command of both the Twelvemile Lake Fire (#220) and the Sand Lake Fire (#292).
The Northern New Mexico Incident Management Team is scheduled to take command of the Roundabout Complex tonight. Several of the positions on the incident management team have been filled by fire personnel from Alaska. The complex is made up of six lightning-caused wildfires near Huslia and Hogatze.

Smith River Hotshots constructed three-quarters of a mile of indirect line Wednesday near Mile 148 to help protect Alaska Native allotments near the Birch Creek Bridge. That work will continue today.
