(Fairbanks, AK) – Residents in the Copper River Valley can expect to see considerable drift smoke from the Funny River Fire at Soldotna as long as winds aloft move the smoke north. Smoke from that fire has also moved through Mentasta Pass and is present in the Tok area.
The burn suspension has been lifted for the Copper River Valley.
