White Mountain Type 2 IA crew is now hiring

The Alaska Division of Forestry’s White Mountain Type 2 initial attack fire crew based in Fairbanks is now hiring for entry level firefighters ($15.60/hr), squad bosses ($17.56/hr) and a crew boss ($19.85/hr) for the 2015 wildfire season. Entry-level firefighters (Tech 1s) and squad bosses (Tech 2s) must be Alaska residents but the crew boss can be out of state.
