The 27 acre Lake Mansfield Fire (#113) 12 miles north of Tanacross was contained at 100 percent early this morning. Alaska Division of Forestry & Fire Protection firefighters and BLM Alaska Fire Service Smokejumpers worked throughout the evening constructing containment lines and securing the fire perimeter.
Today, fire personnel will continue to mop up and patrol the fire area in preparation of demobilization of the fire over the next 24 hour period.
