The Alaska Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF) has scheduled two fall timber sale auctions. The method of sale will be held in person via live, oral outcry.
- Delta area timber sale auction:
- Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, 11:00 AM AKDT
- Delta Forestry Office, Mile 267 Richardson Highway, Delta Junction, AK
The auction offers 11 timber sales totaling 249 acres, including 7 fire salvage sales. Prospective bidders can find a sale prospectus and maps on the division’s website: https://forestry.alaska.gov/timber/delta.
- Fairbanks area timber sale auction:
- Friday, October 3rd, 2025, 10:00 AM AKDT
- Fairbanks DNR Office, Large Conference Room, 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK
The auction offers 8 timber sales totaling 76 acres. Prospective bidders can find a sale prospectus and maps on the division’s website: https://forestry.alaska.gov/timber/fairbanks.
Note fieldwork for a mid-winter auction is ongoing, and a subsequent auction announcement will be forthcoming later this fall.
