Two new fires were reported Wednesday in the state.
The new fires included a human-caused fire near Fort Yukon where a bonfire escaped into adjacent wildlands. The other was the 247-acre Montana Creek fire, cause unknown, which was reported mid-afternoon, south of Talkeetna and 2 ½ miles east of the Parks Highway at Mile 98.
