–Evacuation Level Correction-

Earlier today, Northern Rockies Team 6 announced the lifting of evacuation notices across the area. This was an error. McCloud, Perfect Perch and Martin neighborhoods are still under a Level 1 (Ready) notice by the Fairbanks North Star Borough.

Although these communities are under a specific notice, the incident management team would like to remind all residents to always be prepared and ready to respond to any natural disaster, whether wildfire or earthquake.

Evacuation Levels:

• LEVEL 1 (READY) – McCloud, Martin and Perfect Perch neighborhoods
• LEVEL 2 (SET) – (None)
• LEVEL 3 (GO) – (None)
