Limited fire activity in Tanana Zone

Today, firefighters on the Grouse Creek Fire (#485) and Lloyd Mountain Fire (#361) in the Tanana Zone will continue breaking down and backhauling equipment to Rampart for return to the fire cache in Fairbanks; firefighters on both fires will continue mopping up and monitoring fire activity.  Yesterday, the Grouse Creek Fire (#485) saw minimal fire activity. Weather was favorable for air operations, so firefighters made a broad reconnaissance of the Grouse Creek Fire (#485) area.
