CORRECTION: Open Recreation Areas Near Swan Lake Fire Increase

Boaters on the Upper Kenai River are now able to use the river from Cooper Landing to Jim’s Landing without restrictions on hours. The river remains closed below Jim’s Landing. The Russian River Campground, Russian Lake Trail, Russian River Falls, Barber Cabin, and the K’Beq Day Use Area are now open.

CORRECTION: Bottenintnin Lake Day Use Area is reopened on the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. It is accessed from the west entrance of Skilak Lake Road on the southside of the road at mile 18.5.
