Deception Pup (#252) and Flasco (#259) fires continue to stay within control lines. Containment is now estimated at 50% for Deception Pup and 40% for Flasco. The arduous task of mop up is continuing on both fires with many locations along the line having 100 feet toward the interior completed.

The Wenatchee Valley Rappellers arrived yesterday to join ground crews. Due to the remote nature of the fires, using helicopters to deliver supplies and firefighters increases the efficiency and safety of the operations. Transport of critical supplies such as food, water, and fuel will continue both on the ground and from the air today.
The public will still see smoke in the areas as internal pockets of fuels will continue to burn, none pose a threat to the fireline.
There is a total of 91 personnel assigned to the fires.
