Update 11:35 pm–
With the help of smokejumpers and aircraft utilizing retardant around the fire perimeter, ground resources will be able to continue direct suppression efforts. The fire is currently estimated at 17 acres, burning in black spruce and tundra.
Firefighters will continue working this fire tomorrow, this will be the last update for tonight.

Update: 7:00pm–
Division of Forestry & Fire Protection firefighters and aircraft are responding to the 7 Mile Lookout Fire (#222), currently estimated at 3.5 acres. It is burning approximately 2 miles west of Mile 118 on the Glenn Highway Tok Cutoff in Tok. Firefighters are actively engaged in full suppression efforts on the ground, with helicopter support from above. Air Attack is on scene to provide coordination for two air tankers
Structures are located about 3/4 miles north of the fire near Eagle Trail and Goshawk Road, they are not imminently threatened currently. There are 3 engines, a helitack load and 8 smoke jumpers performing suppression activities on the fire.
