Birch Lake Fire (#309) 100 acres. Approximately 3 miles from Birch Lake burning in mixed hardwood and spruce with an 80% active perimeter. Air Attack completed water drops. Fire is being monitored by air while additional resources arrive in a Full Management Option area.

Square Lake Fire (#293) is estimated at 57 acres. An aircraft passing over Sand lake, roughly 40 miles north of Tok reported a wildland fire. Burning in tundra and black spruce with 10% active perimeter. No structures immediately threatened. Fire is in monitor status.
Windy Creek Fire (#308) 0.75 acres. Located near Moose Mountain burning in hardwood and mixed spruce. A hose lay was completed around the perimeter and hotspots were addressed. No values at risk. Fire is now in monitor status in a Full Management Option area.
McCoy Creek Fire (#312) 0.1 acres. Located 20 miles from Salcha , burning in white spruce and hardwoods. A helicopter with a water bucket helped cool the fire, while smokejumpers arrived by boat to assist. Fire is contained in a Full Management Option area.
Monte Cristo Fire (#319) 200 acres. Located 12 miles south of River Mile 48 of the Salcha River with a 75% active perimeter and isolated tree torching. Backing to the west under light winds. No action is being taken at this time. Fire is in monitor status in a Limited Management Option area.
Jan Lake Fire (#326) 0.1 acres. Near MP 1352 of the Alaska Highway. Smoldering in sparse black spruce and tussocks on flat terrain. Fire activity is moderate. Resources on scene and no additional resources requested. Fire is being monitored in a Full Management Option area.
