Fire spotted along Healy Creek 

8:45 PM – A Helitack responding from the Bear Creek Fire (#237) is working on the emerging coal seam fire, Healy Road Fire (#370). The helicopter is making bucket drops to support firefighters on the ground. The incident management team on Bear Creek will assume command. Future updates will be included with the Bear Creek Fire reports.

7:00 PM – Healy Road Fire (#370) was spotted Wednesday afternoon eight miles east of Healy along the south bank of Healy Creek, burning in tundra. Resources from the Bear Creek Fire (#237) are responding to the fire. Initial size up estimates the fire to be four acres.
