Uncle Sam Creek Fire (#376): 388 Acres
Significant fire activity was reported on the Uncle Sam Creek Fire last night, with single tree torching in black spruce and mixed hardwoods. Helicopter bucket operations were used to slow fire spread. Fire managers are evaluating suppression strategies for this fire, with concerns for firefighter safety and resource allocation to other high-priority fires in the area.

Bruces Fire (#381): 8 Acres – Containment: 100%
The Bruces fire was called contained yesterday evening. All lines are currently holding, and crews are gridding for heat and working on smoke in the interior of the fire. This will be the last report on this fire unless significant change occurs.
