The Twelvemile Lake Fire (#220) sits at 23,423 acres.

The Sand Lake Fire (#292) totals 6,294 acres.

Moderated fire activity yesterday on the Twelvemile (#220) and Sand Lake Fire (#292) allowed resources to make progress in strengthening lines and identifying action points. Helicopter and boat operations continue to support logistical needs across both fires. Fire Crews are encountering a high number of snags (standing dead trees) and are working to remove the hazards, and continue to secure values at risk with point protection during lessened fire activity. IA response is being coordinated with the local unit.
