Moldy Fire (#279) – Fire crews continue to conduct defensive protection measures for Alaska Native allotments along the Huslia and Koyukuk Rivers, and improve access points and defensible lines. An extended dry spell over the past 18 days persists, challenging firefighting efforts. Possible wetting rain is forecasted for this week. Crews are utilizing aircraft to reinforce retardant line and reduce the threat to a communication tower serving Huslia, while keeping the fire west and north of the Koyukuk River. Northern New Mexico Type 3 IMT will be transferring command of the Roundabout Complex to an Alaskan Team later this week.

Caribou Fire (#128), Richards Fire (#251), Billy Hawk Fire (#182), and Billy Hawk 2 Fire (#191) – No changes reported. All four fires remain in monitor status with no new activity.
