Firefighters continue to prepare and protect allotments on the north and south fronts of the Roundabout Complex’s Moldy Fire

The Moldy Fire (#279) saw a third day of minimal fire behavior with no growth or movement to report. The Midnight Sun hotshot crew arrived yesterday to prepare and protect allotments in the southern division. The northern division is repositioning to protect allotments and other values to the north and east.

Moldy Fire (#279) – Today’s objectives include mopping up and securing impacted allotments and locating and retrieving damaged equipment. A refueling mission in cooperation with the Goldrun Complex #904 is being coordinated. No changes to the evacuation levels were reported.  

Caribou Fire (#128), Richards Fire (#251), Billy Hawk Fire (#182), and Billy Hawk 2 Fire (#191) – No changes reported. All four fires remain in monitor status with no new activity.
