Fire acreage levels are approximately 1 week ahead of 2004
No new fires in the Tok area yesterday

403 Tetlin Hills

          Date Started: 6/20/15 @ 1800

          Current acreage: 1,800 No change reported yet, 5% contained

          Management Option: Full

          Summary: Flew retardant drops from three air tankers, water from a scoop and used all available helos until end of possible flight time yesterday. Fire has crossed the original dozer line to the north but has been held at the contingency line so is still in a box. Behavior: Active, Short Crown Runs, Uphill Runs. Spotting. Smoke causing increased public interest. IC estimates acreage burned yesterday at 200 acres bringing total area burned to 2,000 acres. Mapping today. Holding and securing northeast, east, and southeast dozer line with assigned personnel and equipment. Continue to deploy water handling equipment. Continue direct dozer line on the southwest corner to the north. Planned burnout to secure lines as conditions warrant. Assess spotting to the north and use direct attack measures if conditions allow. Cooler and wetter conditions in area today. 219 personnel yesterday

393 Long Lake

          Date Started: 6/20/15: 1605

          Current acreage: 23,000

          Management Option: Critical, 20% contained

          Summary: Fire was active yesterday adding a total of 3,000 acres. Three Columns were seen yesterday. Two of the areas of growth were in Full Suppression Areas one was in a modified suppression area. Most prominent column on the west edge of the fire. Another on southern end in tundra, efforts were to observe and map. Last growth area was to the eastern edge. No imminent threat to public in any of the growth areas. Community meeting in Northway was well attended. Residents are concerned but appreciative of firefighting efforts and working within their community to make contingency plans. Assessments are proceeding on homes and structures within Northway village for fuels mitigation. DOT signs added on Alaska Highway due to possible smoke impacts. Pumps and sprinklers are running to protect airport VOR and cabins.

268 Chisana River 2

          Current acreage: 37,705 No change from yesterday

          Management Option: Limited

          Summary:  No change in acreage reported for today but there potential for showing some growth for the next mapping flight. IC reported seeing one visible column indicating some growth on the northernmost perimeter of the fire. Fire remains in monitor status.

          Management Option: Full, 100% contained

          Summary: Fire is in monitor status.

637 Stuver Creek

          Current acreage:  0.1 acre

          Management Option: Controlled/contained

          Summary: Fire remains in monitor status.
