Donations for Firefighters Appreciated But Not Needed
Alaska’s fire management agencies greatly appreciate the generosity of Alaskans and your concern for firefighters. The crews fighting Alaska’s wildfires are well equipped and cared for. We are not seeking donations of socks, toiletries and other items for firefighters.
Alternatively, citizens who want to help could consider donating to families who have lost their homes or other property, to your local Red Cross chapter, or to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation at www.wffoundation.org. Thanks for your kind consideration!
