Due to completion of fire perimeter mapping, some of the acreages have changed.

On Wednesday there was an increase in fire behavior, due to more direct sunlight and lower RH values then had been observed in the last week.  The crews recorded a low relative humidity (RH) along the Poorman Road of 31%.  There were scattered rain showers across the fire area Wednesday evening, with locally heavy rain at the center of the cells. However the majority of the fire area saw no significant precipitation.  There was some growth on the Trail fire and on the northwest corner of the Big Creek 2 fire.

Bruno Creek Fire: Crews completed the direct line construction on the north end of the Bruno Creek fire and will be securing their work today using pumps and hoses to mop-up the perimeter.

Big Creek Two Fire: A crew swap will occur today on the eastern portion of the Big Creek Two fire. The Calaveras Wildland Fire Module will be replaced with the Black Hills Wildland Fire Module. They will transition and continue with the work in the Nowitna River drainage; setting up sprinkler systems and complete structure protection on remote cabins on the east side of the fire. A few more operation shifts will be required to complete this work.

Trail Creek Fire: Continues to be in a patrol and monitor status.

There is a Notice to Airmen in effect for a 25-mile radius around the village of Ruby.
