Firefighters complete structure preparation around multiple cabins. Structure preparation includes clearing nearby vegetation, installing pumps and sprinkler systems, and identifying any hazards around those structures. Crews continue to work within the vicinity of Poorman Road between the Donut and Camp Creek Fire where the majority of structures are.
- Donut Fire (#335): Current estimated acreage is 36,661 with four Smokejumpers assigned. Firefighters continue with burn out operations around the nearest cabin which is approximately a ¼ mile away. The fire did not receive any substantial rainfall over the last 24 hours. The fire is still active to the north with some creeping and flanking and is currently burning in bogs on the west with no advancement. To the south and east the fire is backing and flanking. The fire saw minimal growth in the past 24 hours.
- Camp Creek Fire (#352): Current estimated acreage is 12,831. The fire has had no new growth over the past two days with the only active fire being either backing or smoldering activity. The fire saw substantial precipitation on Monday.
- Sunset Fire (#369): Current estimated acreage is 3,001. This fire is currently in monitor status and was checked from the air on Tuesday. Fire activity is smoldering around the perimeter with isolated pockets burning on the interior. The fire received precipitation on Monday and has had no new growth in the past several days.
