Be advised that there may be temporary delays due to the Fort Hamlin Hills Fire (#562) that was reported Tuesday. This delay is around milepost 71 due to the wildfire burning on both sides of the road and will be only as long as it is needed to keep firefighters and the public safe. This lightning-caused fire is not under the management of Idaho Team 1.
For the north end of the complex, the Douglas Fire (#336) did not have significant growth. Fire activity continues along the northeast and northwest corners of the fire. The firefighters are continuing to thin vegetation around identified sites of values that may be at risk if the fire progresses. The Prospect Fire (#494) continues to show minimal activity and is slowly creeping through moss on the southern end of the fire. Minimal activity was observed yesterday on the MM 125 (#441) and Curky (#318) fires.
On the south end of the complex, the Huron Fire (#372) picked up in activity yesterday. The fire has made a small movement towards the east. The Troublesome Fire (#359) picked up in activity on the north end of the fire. That fire is approximately three miles from the Quail Creek Mine, where firefighters have prepared the area with defensible space.
