About two dozen firefighters, including active-duty Air Force Airmen, from Eielson Air Force Base, Clear Space Force Station and Joint-Base-Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) are on the fire. They continued work on the South side of the fire on a 1.5 acre spot and a slop over, securing 5 feet in.

Thunderclouds, rain and wind rolled in Tuesday evening. The moisture will help moderate heat within the fire perimeter.
